Two weeks ago, at this exact time, I was returning home from the most kick-back, relaxed wedding I’ve ever photographed. The bride and groom were both easy-going, fun-loving and down-to-earth.
This was my first winter wedding. It was also the first wedding I photographed that I hadn’t previously met the bride or groom…basically I went into this wedding day blind.
When the blindfold was removed, I couldn’t have been blessed with a better couple and/or wedding day to capture! I knew it would be amazing the moment I met Ashley. The first request she had was to make a snow angel in her wedding dress, and of course I was onboard – what an awesome idea!!!
Their ceremony went off without a hitch (minus a memorable candle moment;)), the photos afterward were a bit chilly but absolutely gorgeous in the winter-white snow, and their reception was filled with people who love them dearly! Ashley and Joe are extremely blessed! …and I’m so grateful they asked me to photograph their big day!
