That first year flies so, so fast! I remember when Melody told me she was pregnant with Hendrix – at that time I had no idea how much I would come to depend on her as I started the pregnancy journey just four months later.
Now, looking back, it’s hard to believe that he was just a baby bump then! He’s been struting his stuff in the real-world for an entire year already!
This little guy was already walking at his 9-month photo session, so it was no surprise to me that I had to be fast to catch any images of him at all! I’m grateful for cake smashes for this very reason. The kiddos usually stay put when cake is involved! Let’s just say, this cake smash was another epic one;)
