I knew my 2-hour and 17-minute road-trip to Spring Green, Wisconsin, would result in a fun photo session – but I never dreamed it would be this much fun!
It started with the drive. Being from the Green Bay/Fox Cities area, we really don’t have much for hills. As I made my way to the southern part of the state I was greeted with beautiful rolling hills, filled with trees – colorful Fall trees. The reds and oranges were predominant…and only got me more excited the further I drove!
Then, upon arrival to the quiet, peaceful farm – I was greeted by the Boustany family – eager to get their photos taken. Kristin had set up some photo props a day ahead of time in preparation, and her parents went all-out with ensuring the farm was in perfect condition!
We took a personal hay ride, climbed on round bales in a more than 100-year-old barn, and got up close to the cattle grazing in the field – they ended up running away from us…but when the irrigation system was turned on, we were greeted with a backdrop even more amazing than cattle – a rainbow!
This place was seriously a photographer’s dream!
To the Boustany family – thank you all so much for being such great sports – you were all super photogenic and made my job a piece of cake!
To the Oliver family – your homestead is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for welcoming me with such open arms! (And Julie – thank you for lunch….there’s nothing better than a good home-cooked meal!)
