“God has been gracious.”
That phrase was all over little Jackson’s daddy’s Facebook page the day he was born. It took me until now, exactly 11-days later, to put two-and-two together.
The name Jackson means “God has been gracious.”
As I sit here and type, I could think of a million different ways to start this blog. The more I think and the more I type, the more I realize the blog has already been written for me…God has been gracious.
God was gracious when he brought these two love-birds (Kelcey & Brett) together in marriage. He was gracious when he gave them the means to enjoy their brand new puppy – Bela. He was gracious when he gave them a little “bonus” time to enjoy each others’ company and the life they had built together. He was gracious the day their pregnancy test results came back positive.
God was gracious the day their sweet baby boy, Jackson, was born.
And now, as they watch him grow – from the teeny tiny baby he is now, into the man he will become – God will be gracious.
We don’t always know what path he will choose for us, but when that path includes an adorable, handsome little boy like Jackson, we find ourselves beyond grateful for the miracle God so graciously put on this earth!
